Top Ten Stores for Fashion’s Night Out in NYC 2011

The third annual after-hours shopping event will take place on September 8, 2011 and will kick-off the start of New York Fashion Week.   Proceeds of the Official Fashion’s Night Out merchandise help the NYC AIDS Fund in the Community Trust.  For more info on FNO please visit the official website.

1. Macy’s Herald Square (6:00pm to 11:00pm)

Macy’s wins the prize this year for the most celebrity appearances and events.  They will have personal appearances with Tommy Hilfiger and Joss Stone starting at 5:30 on the 2^nd Floor in Men’s. Join singing sensation Joss Stone at the Tommy Hilfiger party where she will be performing outside on Broadway Plaza.  Singer Kelly Rowland shakes up the evening with a live performance and meet-and-greet in Dresses on 4.  Make sure you’re starting fall off on the right foot by visiting Shoes on 5! Miss J Alexander will be onhand to conduct a shoe seminar, complete with informal modeling, foot massages, music and refreshments.

Meet designer Rachel Roy and athlete Amar’e Stoudemire as they introduce their cool collaboration for Rachel Rachel Roy and host a “Hoops for a Cause” event. With any $50 purchase of Rachel Rachel Roy, guests will have the opportunity to give their best “shot” on a pop-a-shot machine and raise money for the Amar’e Stoudemire Foundation. 2nd Floor, Impulse.  Celebrity DJ, Samantha Ronson wi be spinning tunes all night on the main floor.  Macy’s Flower Cart will hand out flowers to FNO attendees.

2. Rag & Bone (6:00pm to 11:00pm)

Rag & Bone’s Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, along with co-hosts Carmelo and La La Anthony will be holding court at the rag & bone Soho store on Mercer Street. 10. Rock the Rock – Fashion’s Night Out at Rock…

ROCK THE ROCK! FASHION’S NIGHT OUT AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER Rockefeller Center will be transformed into a massive red carpet experience for the third annual Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday, September 8, 2011, from 6:00PM to 11:00PM. The experience will feature live music at The Rink Bar, a live fashion presentation including clothing and accessories from the Center’s retailers and a Fashion’s Night Out step & repeat backdrop where visitors will be made to feel like celebrities as they pose for photos!
